OMG it happened. I couldn't believe it. I will go into details about this great funny show of Leah's later but now I willl tell you about Princess Leah. First of all, I was seated in THE LAST ROW. Not disappointed as I was still able to see Leah from where I was at. Anyways, about an hour and a half into taping, a page came up to me, mind you I thought this lady was going to tell me I was invited to go on the set...DAMN! not true. But she did ask me, "Would you like to sit in the first row?" OH HELL YEAH!!!!!
So there I go to the FRONT ROW!!! Then, I could not believe it when I realized that there was this man sitting next to me. He was a nobody. But then next to him was another man. I had no idea who that man was but next to THAT MAN was LEAH'S SISTER!!!! And then there was Leah's mother!! And you know who was next to her???? ANGELO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is as handsome in person as he is on screen. So then after the taping we all got up and I realized they were not letting anyone try to get on the set...DAMNIT!!!!  I then saw Leah's family standing ready to move past me. I guess they were going to access the stage area. I then motioned real quick to Angelo and told him, "Angelo nice to meet you." I put my hand out and shook his hand and told him I am a huge fan of both him and Leah. I then realized this girl who was calling out Leah and Leah walked over to her. Mind you, Leah was still on the stage and we were still on the audience platform. The only thing separating us was the black iron bars. The woman crouched down and began talking to Leah and I realized she was getting an autograph on her arm. Then I realized she had both arms full of tattoos. They were tattoos of all the celebrity autographs she ever received. She was now going to add Leah to her tats!!! WOW! So then I waited as Leah was done with her and I quickly yelled "Leah! I AM FROM THE LRG!!!!!!" Her response was with a shocked but big grin "OH HI!!!!!" It was so sincere. Like someone you haven't seen since high school. She asked me "What is your name?" and I told her. And she made this smiling face like she knew who I was. Maybe she didn't but I don't care. I then told her I was the one who told her on her blog, "Long time fan, first time posting" and she chuckled. I then pulled out the pic I had printed of Leah for her to sign. It is a huge pic of her holding that beautiful scrapbook she was given by Renee. I figured what better pic for her to sign then that one. She saw it and said, "Awwwww." She asked me how did I like the show and I told her it was great and I loved it. She said something about posting nothing but good things about the show here on the LRG and I told her, "Of course. There is nothing BUT good things to say." and she said, "Oh baby that is so sweet!" I then received my pic (which I will scan and post here) which she signed: To Irene Pleasure to have met you. Love Leah. I then reached out my hand to her and we held hands and I told her I loved her work, she did great tonight and God Bless you. And she said, "Thank you baby, that's so sweet." OMG I MET HER. No pic but I met her! I will get to take pics of her at our bash. I left the studio one happy lady. I also received Matthew Lillard's autograph on a t-shirt I won. I won it by doing a dance for the audience. I have to get ready to take my son to school and then go to the gym but I will post the details about the show!FUNNY ASS SHOW BY THE WAY!!!btw JP I am only allowed 11 smilies on a post. I m thrilled beyond words for you!!!!! I swear those Pages have a sixth sense about who to pick out and do something special for in the crowd. Seems you picked the PERFECT pic to have Leah sign! Can't wait to see that!! Put it in this thread when you get a chance. You should have called me. Some friends took me to a casino for an early birthday present. I tipped a few Coronas and was feeling no pain. Now I have 2 questions for you: 1. Were you actually able to get your camera into the taping? and 2. Who the heck is Rebecca? It's great to be a Leah fan!

Anyhoo, I was so damn lucky because one of the employees who was going to walk us to the studio, came up and said "Sorry...you won't be able to get in. We are full now." Those people were behind the two girls behind me! Oh man, so close! I left my cell phone in my SUV but I took my camera. When it was time to open my purse for security I was worried. But the guy didn't tell me anything about my camera. JP you have no idea how badly I wanted to videotape with my camera bits and pieces of the show. But I was so worried that I would get booted out of there. I didn't want to miss this chance at meeting Leah. I was a very good girl. There were two guys behind me, one was the "deejay" he played music and sound effects in between taping. We had a warm-up guy who was a comedian from the local comedy club THE IMPROV. He was great. I am very thankful for the information you gave me JP and most of all, for finding out that info about Leah's new show. It really made my month! It was my birthday earlier this month and meeting Leah just added to my birthday celebration. I am grateful. I can't get over how beautiful Leah looks in person. She just emits this wonderful glow and such grace. Her smile to me when I told her I was from the LRG is one I will NEVER FORGET! The taping ended right at 10 p.m. and by the time I hit the freeway home, it was almost 10:30 p.m. I stopped by to go eat because I DID NOT EAT ALL DAY. I fasted. I was too excited to see Leah. It was worth it too. I had so much fun at the taping. Even though I was by myself (everyone I know worked) it didn't matter. It was a blast. ; )Last edited by Irene3 : 04-18-2009 at 10:50 AM.
