Default Sports???

I guess I'm like Leah. I don't follow sports. I much rather be in the game than watch I guess. I'm from Texas, and I don't even like the Dallas Cowboys. I do love the Dallas Cheerleaders, tho. Mike

Well my Kentucky Wildcats didnt play a pretty game on the offensive side but the defense brought a jar of this to open today:

Well a win is win and against your rival at their place. I will take it !

Couldnt believe Alabama looked as good as they did. I had thought UK had a chance in that game later in season but I am now rethinking that

Utah pulled a big upset in beating Wolverines. As you said JP, they will be fine after the new system gets going.
USC looked like they could beat several NFL teams...WOW !!

Illinois though they lost....watch out Big Ten !!!

I think this will be the only thing that I contribute to this thread. I watched the Alabama game yesterday. Anyway, I think the announcer was talking the ALC or NFC...anyway, I immediately started thinking of Leah's KFC comment.

I am not that familiar with your team yet tim so you keep us posted and I will be before long.

These are only a few of the more notable games to me.

Okay after the UT/UCLA game I will either be 7-2 or 6-3 !
Some games early in season are predictable so I dont like "picking" the winner of texas vs south east dakota state community college.
The IU/WKU game is close to home for me and App State pulled upset last year.
No I dont ever gamble on games ..just think it fun trying to pick winners !

As far as the UT/UCLA game. Yes as a UK fan..the proper thing is pull for the SEC but sorry....no can do !
Also, I didnt pull for Alabama either. Not a fan of Nick Saban or Bobby Petrino !

JP..will have a NFL thread too ? I am sure SD will participate in that one concerning Brett Favre !

I should add that conference loyalty (ACC for me) is usually only in play during bowl season. Unless someone is playing Notre Dame or Ohio St.

Bad start to the season for the two teams I follow the most. New Mexico and Michigan. I am happy to have a MWC team get a little exposure for beating Michigan.
My LOBOS got disciplined on Saturday. I hope they get a good week of practice in before they take on Texas A&M. I am planning on going to the game on Saturday. I hope they put up a good fight, or at least a fight.
BYU is ranked 16th got a win. Air Force also marked one in the win column.
How did everyone's team do this week?
Whats Notre Dame going to do this year?

Have no fear Gotluv...jmac is here with a little football "ed-u-kay-she-own" !
First you need to pick out a team and since you are lost in this I will help.
Let's see...oh..how about the Kentucky Wildcats.
Second...you root for them !

So in honor of your starting to follow football...here are a couple of things you can add to your computer !!

Another lesson soon to follow !

My Canes won handily this past thursday, but a huge test is coming this weekend. Miami vs. Florida in Canesville. I read Florida is a 21 point favorite.
