Has the US played recently? I'm out of the loop since I don't have TV.

TURN IT TO ESPN!!

US was up 2 goals at the half, goals by Dempsey & Donovan.
In the first min of the second half, BRA scores.

It's now 2-1.

I missed the game but my friend was texting me on how well US was doing. I have to say not bad considering the US was the underdog in the competition.

Yes, we were fantastic, put up a great fight v BRA. I actually thought we were going to pull it off, the first half was excellent. But, as soon as BRA scored their first goal, I thik our confidence dropped and we just got mad.

But, I'm not complaining, BRA are 5 time world champs! We are ranked #14, never been to a FIFA final and have never been up 2-0 against Brazil. I'm proud of our boys even if we didn't pull off the win.

On the bright side, Tim Howard got the Goldne Glove award (best GK in tourney) and Clint Dempsey won the bronze ball (3rd best player in tourney).

You could tell all the guys were crushed. Alas, we have made a GIANT step on the soccer ladder of the world.

UFC 100 is shaping up to be pretty good from the card I see.
Back in the days (mid 90's) my daughters were into that WWF, WCW stuff. I would watch television with them and tell them, "That's so fake!" My girls would say in unison, "We know mom, it is just like a soap opera." But over time I got into the Stephanie McMahon storylines, Chyna and all those funny storylines. I remember some guy who was dressed like a pimp and he would bring out the "Ho train"

That was what I used to use to my Mom . It is like a soap opera or watching a sitcom.
I actually quit watching the WWE when they used that Brock Lesnar story line against the crippled boy. I thought that was in bad taste and it turned me against it.

Now that one I don't know about. I guess there is a lot of wrestling storylines I am not familiar with. But I am sure you and Ryan will enlighten me on those.

Yea I remember that storyline it was Brock Lesnar beating up on that one legged Kid who had cancer. Yea that was a bit crazy. What makes it worse, after he finished that storyline with Brock... they fired that kid, pretty cold thing to do.

Speaking of Brock Lesar Dude looks like Cabbage Patch Kid on steroids hahhaha, He's a really built up dude but his face looks like Barney Rubble LOL
