Yea I was shocked as hell when I heard he died... I think in terms of shock value I was just about as Shock when he died, when I found out Michael Died, both of them died just out of nowhere.

I found out about Eddie's death online. I went and told my boyfriend who was outside and he kept saying, "Eddie Guerrero...are you sure?" I finally told him to come look at the internet so I could show him. I felt so bad for Eddie's fans and his family.

Now, Eddie's widow is in the wrestling storylines.

I found another Stephanie Clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwAyB...eature=related

But yea hahha, Donald Trump owned it for like a week then he sold it right back to vince mcmahon for double the money he bought it for according to the storyline. Donald just wanted to get on there since he has been going down in popularity since the apprentice lool.

Celebrities love showing up both on WWE and WCW when it use to be around, I remember when Davifd Arquette Won the frigging world title from someone one time

Yo Ryan. You mentioned you were into wrestling. When I was growing up, around here it was the Mid-South wrestling. I lived in the country and not too many people ,including me, had cable. TBS was considered cable so I didnt get to see the old WCW very much.
Anyway, I dont know if you are aware but in the midsouth, it was guys like Jerry Lawler, Bill Dundee, Fabulous Ones, Jeff Jarrett etc with Jerry Lawler being "the Ric Flair" or "Hulk Hogan" of this area.
Lawler was from Tennessee and he pretty much ruled this area. Here is a clip of a early 80's match between him and Hulk Hogan who came into the area for a short time. Now this was before Rocky 3 so Hulk was just a big wrestling dude at this time and not Hulkamania.

Yeah I knew it was fake but it was just like watching a good guy/ bad guy show on TV.

I told my boyfriend about the whole Donald Trump owning the wrestling federation for only a week...he was like, "Really? I thought he really bought it?"

What an awesome clip you got me watching alot of those clips on there now of Mid-South lool
Yea Im somewhat familar with Mid-south wrestling... I was too young or not around during its hey day but I remember and seen clips and shows of Lawler vs. Andy Kaufman, that seems like it was a really entertaining feud. I just heard today Lawler is trying to run for mayor of Memphis seems like hes still the man down there after wrestling.

I remember Wrestling on TBS.. i really the NWA on TBS then became WCW a few years. I use to live up the street from where they did the Saturday Evening wrestling shows on TBS, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Nikita Kolff, Lex Luger, Dusty Rhodes, The Steiners and use to go alot of them for free, I still regret to this day, not going to one in 1993 when i was 8 years old, it marked the final US appearance of Andre The Giant before he died.

Yeah wrestling was on TBS on Saturday nights but I couldnt get it. Sometimes we would visit a relative in town who had cable and I seen it then.
That was in those days of Flair, 4 Horsemen etc.
Mid South didnt have a lot of silly angles like stuff today. They just had people "go at it ".
Yeah I have no doubt Lawler will win if he runs. Once in the 80's, he hurt his leg playing football. So they made an angle where he would " be out of action" for awhile.

I remember this well. He was fighting Austin Idol in a hair vs hair cage match. Rich hid under the ring and helped Idol win and Lawler got "posted" .
Yeah...I know it was fake but shoot.....it still hurts just watching it. OUCH !!
Here is clip and the "bad guys" had to struggle to get to dressing room afterwards as Lawler's fans were ready to attack them.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sP-3qv_wdyo

Alot of people were actually puzzled as to if the hatred between Kauffman/Lawler was really genuine which Lawler said later...no, it was ALL staged.

wow that was a pretty crazy match right there Mid-South really seemed like a pretty entertaining Wrestling company I really wish I was Old enough to watch back then and remember that. And I heard that about Jerry Lawler and Kaufman too, I think I even read they were good friends. Ill never forget that little fight they had on the set of David Letterman. I wasnt around to see it when it orignally happened, but through out the years I have always seen clips of this
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv73yzYuE_M

Also I found an Old NWA/WCW Clip from 1986, I was only one years old at the time but I remember my Grandad telling me stories about this beatdown, The 4 Horsemen were driving to some building to where Dusty Rhodes was for something and got out of the car and beat him down in the parking lot, tied him to a truck and took a hammer and broke his hand. they dont actually show his hand getting hit, but the storyline of this is pretty entertaining.
