I haven't been down there in years. But I will ask my cousins when I get down there. Should I go? Is it a fun bar or something?

The Elbo Room has been around for years! Right across from the
beach on A1A. Here's the website (http://www.elboroom.com/FL/Webcams/index.asp). Nothin' fancy, just a bar.

If you decide to get a little more adventurous, you can make the 20-30 min. drive to the Eden Roc on Miami Beach. That was my second home when I lived in Miami. If you go here (http://www.edenrocresort.com/virtual.htm) and click on Aquatica Restaurant it will give a 360 degree view of it. The Eden Roc is under major renovation right now and Aquatica is only going to be open for 2-4 more weeks the last I heard.

How to get there:
You can take Collins Ave. to 4600. There is a public parking lot on the east side of the road. Parking is free after 6pm. Dollar an hour before that.
Just walk straight back along side the Eden Roc and you will eventually come to some stairs that will take you right up to the restaurant/bar. Very easy.
If you do make it there and it's before 5pm lookup Sara, Lynn, or Hannah.
After 5, lookup Kattia (female), and the guys: Franz, Abe, or Angel.
Those are your bartenders. Best to go on a thursday, friday or saturday if you can.
If you see any of them, tell 'em J.P. says hello...especially Kattia. They should take care of you after that. ;)

If you do talk to Kattia be sure and have her tell you her shark story! That will keep you in stitches for awhile! :laughing out loud:
