It takes a Village

Former King of Queens star Leah Remini has nabbed the lead in ABC's comedy pilot, It Takes a Village, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Remini will play Karen, a woman who raises her 15-year-old son with her ex-husband and both of their significant others.

My guess is there will be no laugh track.
Most of these single camera shows today don't have one.
I am not a fan of single camera shows. But with Leah in one, I'm sure my opinion will change. At least for her show. :)

As far as the Emmy goes, it's about 10 years past due! ;)

What doesn't kill ya will only make you stronger Leah. Who knows why stuff like this happens, but as you know from the beginning of your career, sometimes there are a lot of bumps and crazy turns before you get to where your suppose to be.
We believe in you Leah and know that there is something even better for you out there! We'll be waiting and praying. Until then, you are STILL making us smile at our homes everyday watching King of Queens. I had one of the worst weeks, had a lady screaming in my face that ripped me to pieces. I cried for along time but went home and watched some KOQ, AND had some wine, and it brought back my smile instantly.
Gary and I went on a double date just last night and we still end up talking about an episode of KOQ. (it is an easy way to put a humorous spin on our dysfunction relationship) Your legacy is still alive everyday Leah!
And fyi, we will be making another investment soon in a new KOQ Dvd series....as our puppy recently enjoyed chewing on our DVD sets, :rolleyes: We think she was just trying to open them to watch them because she has such good taste, so she is forgiven.
*Lots of hugs, and you know we all would wanna chill out with you again this summer to show our support! So save us a day this summer! Am I right guys?
