Question about last KOQ episode?

I thought that this would be a good topic to discuss.

Okay, so it looks like this season 9 might be the last season for KOQ and I am very sad about it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will come back for a 10th season and I think that there is hope...but anyway, getting back to my question...

I read an article where Leah said that she would like Carrie and Doug to have a baby for the series finale However, Kevin doesn't want that and said Doug should run away from Carrie and Arthur and join the circus (of course this was a joke), or maybe Carrie and Doug should win the Lottery.

So let's say that this is going to be the last season for KOQ, how would you all like it to end? What would be your dream series finale for KOQ?

The two main issues between Carrie and Doug have always been a baby and money. This is one of the things that kept the show alive all these years.

I personally would like Carrie and Doug to have a baby. I mean IMO that has always been "main the thing" between them....the baby. So I think that having Doug and Carrie have a baby would be the perfect ending. It would show how Carrie and Doug have matured, and come full circle. Then they could have Arthur move in with Mickey or Danny once they have the baby.

I also wouldn't mind Carrie and Doug winning the Lottery because money has always been another issue for them and another sesative subject between them.

Now, I will say that I will accept any ending EXCEPT Doug and Carrie getting divorced. I read some stupid article where the writer was saying that maybe they should get divorced. I was like "HELL NO"! That better NOT happen. Besides the baby, and money, Carrie and Doug's love was always between them and what made the show special...how much they really did love one another.

So what are all your thoughts?

Another bad idea is Arthur dying. Too sad and I'd hate for it to end that way. :(
I don't really like the idea of them winning the lottery because Roseanne
did that and it was the worst season ever, IMO. It REALLY changed the show.

I'd like for them to have a baby, too. That would be great, but Kevin says they're not gonna do that, sooo.... I wouldn't mind if they had just a regular episode for the series finale like ELR did...but then again, that's kinda boring. lol
Someone on another forum had an idea that maybe Spence and Danny would both finally find "the one" and they'd have a double-wedding. I like that idea. :)
It would be cool if "Holly" came back to visit the Heffernans and she was pregnant!

I know what you mean about Rosanne winning the Lottery and it ruining their season. And I agree I think that a baby or winning the lottery would ruin the KOQ like it did with Mad About You and Roseanne. But, since it appears that KOQ is going off the air anyway, what is the difference, you know? I mean how will it ruin their season or cancel the show if it is already canceled? That is what I didn't get about Kevin James not wanting Doug and Carrie to have a baby for their last episode. It wouldn't IMO ruin the show, characters or season since it is the last episode ever.

I personally like the baby idea becasue it would also be a great pay off for the fans who have loved the show and characters for so long. Then as the sub plots I would like Spence and Danny to get married, Holly to come back and then something funny with Arthur (which I can't think of right now). It would actually be hilarous if during Spence and Danny's wedding Carrie went into labor.

it wouldn't really "ruin" the show to have a baby....especially if it was the last show anyways.
