Know some lyrics, but don't know the song?

Know the song, but can't find it anywhere?

Perhaps someone here can help you.

No, I was very impressed to discover that Lisa has upgraded to an uptempo Nickelback song in your absence!

I, however, have the BEST song on MySpace right now, and even this week's Entertainment Weekly says it's so.

Did you listen to the lyrics, though? But it doesn't matter because I already changed it :laughing out loud: .

Yes, you do have the best song on MySpace! :D

Well I already know Lisa loves it.

It's Kelly Clarkson's new single and it's called . . . .

"MY LIFE WOULD SUCK WITHOUT YOU". :laughing out loud:

This week's ET Weekly has the song in the center of a bullseye and the copy reads:

Sorry, Mozart, we're going with Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" as the best song in the history of the universe".

Not too shabby, huh?

JP ... I'm sure you know what this is. I don't know the name, but it came out in the early 90's I'm guessing. It was guy/guys and it was a dancing song all I really remember is girls with those daisy dukes on come on everybody or something ie that . My Uncle use to listen to it and that one part is stuck in my head. :laughing out loud: This is going to be funny to read the answers you all come up with.

Thanks for combining them :thumbsup2: There's a latin song I've been thinking of and it's been in my mind, but I can't quite think of the lyrics. I heard it while enjoying an evening at Planet Hollywood. DANG IT ! I know the beginning is a bit annoying, but the rest gets the body movin and groovin. I'll get back to this

This is not only "what is that song" but "who sang it?" question. Man this has been driving me crazy. I remember back in the late 80's I bought a cassette single of a black female singer and for the life of me I can't recall her name or the song. I think her first name began with an "L" and her last name began with an "H" (or vice versa):laughing out loud: HELP!! Is there any way I can figure this out? For some reason I keep thinking her last name is similar to "Hathaway".

:laughing out loud: I have been trying to figure out the name but no can do. I am coming up with Laila or some name like that in my head but when I search the internet, nothing. I think she was a one song wonder. I can see the cassette cover clearly in my mind though.

How 'bout Lalah Hathaway (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalah_Hathaway)?
Donny's daughter. ;)

Not a word.:laughing out loud:

How 'bout Lalah Hathaway? Donny's daughter.

She was the first one to come to mind but no, it isn't her. I just remember what the cassette cover looked like. It was blue and had the pic of the artist's face. It was a fast, upbeat song. I feel so stupid because just over 5 years ago I got rid of all my cassettes to a local oldies record shop for trade. That cassette is gone forever.:( I wanted to download the song but have no clue what the artist's name is or what the song is called. I had a hard time remembering TAMARA & THE SEEN and her music but I just searched the internet for Jesse Johnson and luckily I was able to go from that information then find her song titles.

At work they play a satellite channel that plays 70's, 80's, 90's, and more recent songs.
I swear they only play about 400 songs total because I can hear the same songs day after day and that's listening to this channel for maybe 20 - 30 minutes the entire day!!

Well one song in particular had been bothering me all summer.
Last night I was at a sports bar and someone played it on the jukebox.

The song is Shattered by O.A.R. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCHcrXmQZ9g)
Here is what bothers me about this song. Pay special attention to the chorus.

Now, check out Kings And Queens by Luna Halo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTAz-j4_IWA)

Some of you already know the Luna Halo song from this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yNqQA2qssw)

Now tell me I'm crazy, or agree that the chorus in the O.A.R. song is almost note for note the same as the chorus in the Luna Halo song, only slower.
Talk about your potential lawsuits. :laughing out loud:
