You guys are never going to ever believe this --- I received a little note card in the mail from Ms. Leah Remini herself!!!! I kid you not!!!!!
Remember when I went to the July 13th taping? Well, I brought along an "Emmy" for Leah Remini. It was inscribed "To a Real Emmy Winner" from her fans on the Forum (referring to the Sony Board, as this site was not up and running at the time...). Of course, it was not a real Emmy, but the closest thing I could find at a trophy store...
I never brought it up that I had brought this "Emmy" to the taping because Security took it and said they would give it to Leah's mother. Of course, I never knew if it went straight into Security's trash can, or if Leah's dogs were using it as a dog chew :p
Well, the breaking news is I just got a Thank You note from Leah Remini in the mail today!!!!! Here's what it says:
Dear Michelle - Thank you so much for the "Emmy"! I have it proudly displayed for all to see :) I also want to thank you for taking it upon yourself to help us to get to Year 10. Your love and support means a lot to all of us. All my love to you! Leah.
And, OH YEAH, I'm having this note framed, envelope and all!!!!
Ok, everybody, you've heard it from Carrie herself --- "help us to get to Year 10."
