With the struggle in our economy and this Presidential election going on I am sure that everyone is watching a lot of news channels. At least more then they had in the past. That being said what is everyone favorite news channel and new program?

Since I lean toward deomocratic views I love MSNBC. I like their views and find that I agree with them the most out of any other channel. I love watching "Hardball With Chris Matthews", "Countdown With Keith Olberman" and "The Rachel Maddeow Show". I enjoy listening to Rache's views and I think that Keith is hilarous.

I LOATHE FOX News Channel as I feel that they are "too" republican and lie. They cut off people that they are interviewing if they don't like what they are saying and they don't seem to even try and have unbiased opinions.

What does everyone else watch?

I watch MSNBC. Love Chris Matthews!
However, my favorite "news" program is the Colbert Report.
That guy makes me LOL all the time!!! Just brilliant!

I watch Fox News. It's on pretty much 24/7 because my mom is big into politics (ever since Bush became president). Please don't hate me for saying this, but my favorite show is Hannity's America :) I know a lot of people hate Fox News because it's "too Republican." I honestly don't think it's as bad as people say it is. There are definitely TV personalities on that channel that are Republican (half of the country is), but there are also a lot of Democrats as well. I've noticed that when they are talking about the issues, there is a always a Republican guest and a Democrat (sometimes two of each). I also constantly have to listen to my mom complain about Fox talking about Obama more than McCain, so there is definitely a liberal presence on Fox News.

But it doesn't matter to me what news channel you guys watch. We all have different preferences, and that's totally OK with me :)

John Stewart is a riot!!!!

I watch MSNBC news and I watch FOX news now and then depending what is being shown. I mean, when it comes down to headline news and such, it depends who has more in depth information. As for politics, I try and not watch news regarding that topic unless it is vital such as the election this year. I prefer to watch my local news channel when it comes to any sort of news.

I watch all the major channels. CNN, Headline News, FOX and MSNBC. It depends on what they're talking about. Some channels cover certain stories more than the others.

Gotta give my lady NANCY GRACE her props. :imnotworthy: She keeps me up-to-date on the criminal news. Hell, if it weren't for her show, I would not know what would be going on in the Caylee Anthony matter.

Of course! How could I forget her? I watch it every damn night! :o
Her show is definitely one that covers stories that would otherwise be ignored.

You know, I called into Court TV once a long time ago. I think it was 1998 or 1999. She was covering a trial of a Florida man who had shot his wife 9 times in the head while a reporter was there interviewing the wife and the cameraman caught it on tape. My question to Nancy was, "Why did it take 7 years for this guy to go to trial?" I hadn't heard or read anything on the case so I never knew what had been going on. Nancy said, "Great question Irene!":biggrinking:

You got to ask her a question? *jealous as hell* :laughing out loud: ;)
That is so cool, and a very good question! 7 years!!! It was caught on tape and it took that long?! WTF? That should have been an open and shut case.

:D

Yeah, that is what I assumed when that crimed occurred...open and shut. Well the ass who murdered his wife kept firing one attorney after another, it was one delay after another, plus they needed to change venues because the tape had been shown all over television, he argued he wouldn't get a fair and impartial jury, etc. Just a bunch of legal malarkey that defendants are entitled to do. And he did. Thank goodness that bastard was found guilty. DUH!!!

I don't know if you'd consider it news but I love watching Bill Maher (or listening to him since I download his podcasts).
