Thanks! Not sure what is going on.
Yesterday my sister pulled a Arthur on me.
I asked her for a phone number and she started to run numbers together,
so I had to stop her with Doug's last line in this clip (http://s205.photobucket.com/albums/bb307/jpcanes/KoQ%20Clips/?action=view¤t=Doug-Arthur-TheRock.flv)

You can NEVER underestimate the extreme importance of telephone rhythm, and I feel your pain! Whenever someone asks my mother for her area code, she invariably replies "two fifteen". For some reason this makes me incredibly insane, and I always lash out with "Mom, it is NOT two fifteen, it's two-one-five". She just looks at me blankly as if I'm the most moronic person on the face of the earth. Arthurina!

I'm gonna be completely honest with you. I though the 'Mummy' movie sucked. I thought the plot line was to weak. I thought there was a lot they could've cut out of the movie.
But the 'Dark Knight' I think was the better movie of the summer. But thats just my opinion.

Lol. I guess people don't have proper phone number etiquette these days.

I think many many others agree with you ashie ! ;)
The Batman blockbuster "The Dark Knight" hauled in $43.8 million to rank as Hollywood's top movie for the third-straight weekend, fending off "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor," which opened a close second with $42.5 million.
"The Dark Knight" has soared to a $394.9 million haul in just 17 days, according to studio estimates Sunday. The Warner Bros. release should sail past the $400 million mark by Monday or Tuesday, said Dan Fellman, head of distribution for Warner.
That would be on the film's 18th or 19th day of release, another record for "The Dark Knight," which had an all-time high opening weekend of $158.4 million. The previous $400 million record-holder was "Shrek 2," which hit that mark in 43 days.
"It's a film that is just rewriting the record books every day and redefining our notions of what a blockbuster can be," said Paul Dergarabedian, president of box-office tracker Media By Numbers.
"The Dark Knight" will top $500 million, predicted Fellman, who would not speculate on whether it could approach the all-time domestic revenue record of "Titanic" at $600.8 million.

Wow, thanks for the info. I dunno I think I'm getting to the point where I'm just really selective of the movies I watch. I was watching the trailers for the upcoming movies of this year and I think I saw about 1 out of 10.
But I think Hollywood will still put out crappy movies 'cuz they know people will go see it anyway (which is ashame in my opinion).

Aww, I'm starting to convert people to Johnny Cupcake-ism (not really). But to answer your question this is
Johnny Cupcakes (http://www.johnnycupcakes.com/blog.php). He's a Boston dude that makes t-shirts and other accessories that are cupcaked themed and run in limited edition (I own like 7 shirts and a hoodie). He just opened up a shop in L.A. (Aug. 3). Apparently, Justin Timberlake (and his chick...can't remember her name) walked by his shop one day when a couple of kids were camping out 4 days before the store was opened. The story is on is blog.
He basically built his company from the ground up (the story also on the blog). The cool thing he puts in little surprises when you order shirts.

I have been enjoying an old fav the last few weeks, Remington Steele.
I am now into season 2 which is really when the series got good.
Never saw the first season when it was popular, so it was enjoyable to
watch that and see how it all began.
If you want to check out some eps. you can click here (http://www.hulu.com/remington-steele) and watch a few.
Just got done watching season 2 ep.2 and look who was in it:
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/1001/image1km6.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
In case you don't recognize her, that's Dorothy Sacksky!!
Jenny O'Hara (Doug's mom) was in the next to last ep. of season 1, if i
remember correctly.
The great Doris Roberts plays Mildred Krebs starting in season 2. ;)

OMG, Dorothy certainly went downhill after hooking up with Tim. Whatever happened to Zimbalist ? We know what happened to Brosnan !

Whatever happened to Zimbalist ? We know what happened to Brosnan !
Well, right off the top of my head I seem to remember:
Early life
Zimbalist was born in New York City, New York, the daughter of Loranda Stephanie (née Spalding) and actor Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.[1] Her grandfather, Efrem Zimbalist, was a concert violinist, teacher and composer, and her grandmother, Alma Gluck, was a leading soprano. Her step-aunt, Marcia Davenport was an author and historian.
Her paternal heritage is Jewish, though her father had converted to become an evangelical Christian. Zimbalist graduated from Foxcroft School in Middleburg, Virginia. She briefly attended the Juilliard School before commencing her acting career.
Career
Early television and movie appearances include Forever, The Triangle Factory Fire Scandal, The Awakening (with Charlton Heston) and The Golden Moment, in which she played a Soviet Olympic gymnast. She co-starred with her father, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., in the 1979 TV movie The Best Place to Be, which also starred Donna Reed.
Perhaps the most challenging early role for Zimbalist was that of Ellie Zendt in the mini-series of the James Michener epic novel "Centennial," first televised on NBC between October 1978 and February 1979. She portrayed detective Laura Holt on the romantic comedy-mystery series Remington Steele, co-starring Pierce Brosnan (1982 to 1987).
Since then, Zimbalist has taken leading roles in several television movies. She played the title role in the Emmy-award winning Caroline? in 1990. Zimbalist also was seen in episodes of Touched by an Angel.
Zimbalist also played opposite Tommy Tune in the touring stage musical My One and Only in the featured role of "Sylvia". She has made several appearances with the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California, and won a "Robby Award" for Best Actress in a Drama in The Rainmaker, staged by Rubicon in 2001.
More recently, Zimbalist has taken roles in plays concerning 19th-century artists including Chopin, Tchaikovsky and Van Gogh. She has also released audio books including "The Girls" and "Queen of the Underworld". "The Girls" received a Listen-Up award in 2006.
Zimbalist appearted in the 2006 documentary, "Christa McAuliffe: Reach for the Stars." She also played Christa McAuliffe in the play "Defying Gravity."
She has been a supporter of the Tennessee Williams Festival of New Orleans.

Oh he was called many ,many things like that at UK including the hefty lefty.
His junior season..the guy was a top QB.
He threw for 500 yards against 2-3 teams including Georgia. Then his senior season , he had a different OC take over. The guy from Kansas State who tried to turn him into an option QB. His career went down hill after that.
From throwing for 500 yards to running the option

jmac, I could start college football and pro football threads when the season
gets ready to start for those who would like to have discussions.
You interested? Might just be you and me. :laughing out loud:
If you guys start football threads, I can assure you I won't be "chattering" there. :laughing out loud: I'm guessing Sweetdiggity, jp and jmac will most definitely be participating unless some other football fans come out of the woodwork as the season gets closer.
Football reminds me of cold weather, winter, dark gloomy days, and when I was younger the dreaded "going back to school. Those are just a couple of reasons I don't like football. Well, that and the fact that I haven't got a clue what's going on when I watch it or what the rules are.
I especially can't stand the Philadelphia Eagles, and you know where I live.
BTW, if I hear the name Brett Favre one more time today I fear I shall :freakingout:
Enjoy your football :D
I'm with you 100%. Renee is most definitely Leah!!!!!

Hence the term "special needs". And Leah if your reading this, I don't mean it in an offensive way at all.

Off topic: I just beat the crap out of spider with a mop while standing on step stool. And smacked it with a shoe for good measure. Needless to say, my brother would be proud.

The thing with that is he wanted to have a baby as per his statement in people mag...
"On the future: "I want to be a father so badly. I want (kids) one day. I would love to adopt."
and she too, so they agreed to have the baby together and raise it, like that movie with Madonna...ummm i think it was called...The next best thing.

I guess....but I don't think someone should bring kids into the world like that. It's just not right. There are so many kids with parents who abandoned them & live in horrible orphanages, in which their home country does nothing to help them. Which is another reason I go to Russia each summer to help give these kids a future & hope. Just my 2 cents...

BLF, I want you to see this thread (http://www.leahreminiguardforum.com/upload/showthread.php?t=1019) in case you miss it.
And welcome back! :wavey3:
Here is the Phelps thing I seen today :
After he retires from swimming, Michael Phelps might want to try his hand at competitive eating. The Olympic star recently said he consumes 12,000 calories per day, or 9,500 more than the FDA recommends for an active, young male.
Phelps has to keep his intake up in order to compensate for all the calories he burns during the 30-hours per week he spends in training. He told NBC that an average day might have the following menu:
Breakfast: 3 fried egg sandwiches, 2 cups coffee, 5-egg omlette, bowl of grits, 3 pieces of french toast, 3 chocolate chip pancakes
Lunch: 1 pound pasta, 2 ham and cheese sandwiches, energy drink (1,000 calorie)
Dinner: 1 pound pasta, 1 large pizza, energy drink (1,000 calorie)
Three years ago, Phelps told an interviewer:
I eat pretty much whatever I want. I don't have a strict diet. It's all about cramming in as many calories into my system as I possibly can. To be honest with you, I have a tough time keeping weight on.
Michael better be careful there. There's no surer way to turn new female fans into former female fans than by complaining about how hard it is to keep on weight.
Wow !!!!!!!!

-have to be there at a certain time [reservations]
-takes about 30-45 min to get there [that's just about how far STK is from where i live]

Huh ??
Let me explains this for you. On work on Thursday I was hanging up clothes on the bottom of T-stand. It looks similar like this (t-stand (http://www.abctarget.com/product1~P~P039~D~D14~S~S111~G~G1~C~C95.htm))
only there's another rack at the bottom. Somehow I forgot there was a rack on top and looked up, walked forward and BAM! I went head first into it. That mess hurt and it still hurts.

Nope...no blood. I think I might have a minor concussion though. I feel so not like myself.

Just because the poor girl may be suffering from a concussion, does NOT mean she is incapable of reading.
Seriously ashie, I think you should head to the ER pronto since you're not feeling like yourself. Best to get that head checked out and get a clean bill of health. Old Navy will be more than happy to pick up the tab (unless of course you dripped blood all over their inventory J/K!!!!!).
GET TO THE ER RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY!!!!

Oh yeah, let's blame the poor girl who has a head injury. How very nice of you? Of course I'd read the thread - when have I never read a thread you posted in Jmac. :D
Actually I feel a little bit better. It just hurts more now then it did 2 days ago when it happened. No I lucky didn't bleed on the Old Navy inventory. Though I could've gotten an discount for the ruined items.
